One Takedown account and one subscription cover every team in your program: high school boys, high school girls, middle school, a USA Wrestling club and any others. Give each team its own Season, and each team keeps its own Roster, Opponent Teams, weight classes, schedule and reports.
1. Plan your Seasons
Make one Season per team per year, named so anyone can tell them apart, for example:
- 2026 - 2027 HS Boys
- 2026 - 2027 HS Girls
- 2026 - 2027 Middle School
- 2026 - 2027 Freestyle Club
Varsity and JV of the same team usually share one Season and use competition levels instead. See Competition Levels.
Use a My Team name that fits every team, such as your school or district name. It appears on reports, the scoreboard and Takedown LIVE. See Your Team.
2. Create each team's Season
- Tap My Team > Seasons, then +.
- Enter the Season Name, Start Date and End Date. Every Event's date has to fall between them.
- Under Event Defaults, set the Style the team wrestles (Folkstyle or Freestyle), its Weight Classes and its Home Event Location.
- Choose the Competition Levels the team uses, or leave them all unchecked.
- Tap Add.
Repeat for each team. See Seasons.
3. Give each Season only its own team's Roster
- In My Team > Seasons, tap the team's Season to select it.
- Tap Get [your team] Roster, then Add Team.
- Under the current season at the top of the list (not Previous Seasons), tap the level, for example High School, Middle School or USA Wrestling. Then pick your state or governing body.
- Find that team's roster, tap it, then tap Import.
Subscribe each Season only to the roster for that team, and only for the current year. If a Season shows another team's wrestlers or last year's roster, remove that source: swipe left on it under Roster Sources and tap Stop Updates. Wrestlers already added stay until you remove them; see Editing Wrestlers.
Then tap Get Opponent Teams to add that team's opponents. See Your Roster, Roster Sync and Opponent Teams.
4. Switch between teams
Tap My Team > Seasons and tap the team's Season. Its Schedule, Practices, Roster and Opponent Teams appear right under it, and Scoring and Reports switch to it too.
Before you score, check that the right team's Season is selected. Matches can't be moved between Seasons.
5. Next year
Create a new Season for each team and copy what you need from last year's. See Starting a New Season.
