Every iPad signed in to the same Takedown account sees the same data. Changes made on one iPad reach the others automatically whenever both are online. If an iPad is missing a match, a wrestler or an event that you can see on another, check these in order.
1. Both iPads are signed in to the same account
On each iPad, tap Settings > Account and compare the email address. If they're different, the iPads are using different Takedown accounts, and their data can't be combined. Sign out of the extra account and Log In with your program's email. See Using Takedown on More Than One iPad.
2. Both iPads have been online since the change
Syncing is two steps: the iPad where the change was made sends it to the cloud, then the other iPad downloads it. Each iPad needs an internet connection for its step. An iPad that scored a dual meet on a gym's Wi-Fi that didn't work hasn't sent anything yet.
- Connect the iPad that made the change to the internet and leave Takedown open for a minute.
- Then do the same on the iPad that's missing the data.
3. Both iPads are up to date
Update Takedown on both iPads to the same, latest version: How to manually update apps from the App Store.
4. Close and reopen Takedown
On the iPad that's missing the data, close Takedown completely and reopen it while connected to the internet.
Two people editing the same thing
If two scorers change the same match or wrestler at the same time on different iPads, one change can replace the other. Agree on who scores which mat, and have one person make roster changes.
Still out of sync?
Email support@levelchanger.com with your login email, what's missing (for example, "the 132 lb match from the Jan 14 dual against Central") and which iPad has it. We can check sync from our side.
