Buying a Subscription or Starting a Free Trial

Takedown Scoring and Stats is free to download. Managing your team, reviewing video and creating reports are always free. A subscription adds match scoring and video recording, and every new subscription starts with a 7-day free trial.

One subscription covers every iPad signed in to your Takedown account and every affiliated team (boys, girls, middle school and club) at no extra cost.

Plans

Subscriptions renew every year. Subscriptions in good standing renew at your original purchase price.

Choose how to pay

Start your free trial

1. Open Takedown and tap Settings > Takedown Store. (If you tap Score Event before subscribing, Takedown offers a Go to Takedown Store button.)
2. On Choose How to Subscribe, tap Continue with LevelChanger or Continue with the App Store, then follow the steps below.

Directly from LevelChanger

1. Tap Continue with LevelChanger. The subscribe page (subscribe.levelchanger.com) opens.
2. Sign in with the same email and password you use for Takedown. Your email must be verified first. If the page says it isn't, open Takedown, resend the verification email, click the link in it, then tap I've Verified — Check Again.
3. Tap Subscribe Now and enter your payment details. There is no charge today.
4. Return to Takedown. The Takedown Store shows Your free trial ends on and the date.

When the trial ends, your Scoring and Video Subscription is charged to your card and renews every year. Cancel more than 24 hours before the trial ends and you won't be charged.

Through the App Store

1. Tap Continue with the App Store. Try Takedown for Free! shows what's due when the 7-day trial ends.
2. Tap Start Free Trial and confirm with your Apple Account.
3. The Takedown Store shows Your free trial ends on and the date.

When the trial ends, the Scoring Subscription is charged to your Apple Account and renews every year. Video recording stops at the end of the trial unless you also buy the Video Recording Subscription. Cancel more than 24 hours before the trial ends and you won't be charged. Subscribe after your trial has ended

1. Tap Settings > Takedown Store.
2. Next to Scoring Subscription, tap the price and confirm with your Apple Account.
3. To record video, tap the price next to Video Recording Subscription. It can only be bought while you have an active Scoring Subscription.

A green checkmark appears next to each subscription you have, with its renewal date.

Manage or cancel

• Bought directly: in Settings > Takedown Store, tap Manage Subscription, or go to subscribe.levelchanger.com and sign in. You can update your card or cancel there. For help, email support@levelchanger.com.
• Bought through the App Store: in Settings > Takedown Store, tap Manage Subscriptions. Or, on the iPad signed in to the Apple Account that made the purchase, open the iPad Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Takedown Scoring and Stats. See Cancel a subscription from Apple.
• Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple. See Request a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple.
• Receipts for App Store purchases are in your Apple purchase history. See View your purchase history for the App Store and other Apple media services.

Troubleshooting

"Couldn't connect to the App Store. Check your internet connection."
Connect to Wi-Fi or cellular, then tap Try Again.

"There is a billing problem."
Your renewal payment didn't go through. For a direct subscription, tap update your payment details. For an App Store subscription, update your payment method with Apple. See If you need to change or update your Apple Account payment method. If Apple shows "billing problem with previous purchase," see If a message says 'billing problem with a previous purchase' or 'verification required'. Takedown keeps working until the date shown.

"Your free trial has ended" or "Expired Subscription"
Tap Go to Takedown Store and buy a subscription.

The subscribe page says your subscription is managed by Apple
You subscribed through the App Store. Manage it from the iPad as described above.
