Most schools pay for Takedown one of two ways. Here's what each one offers.
| Directly from LevelChanger | Through the App Store | |
|---|---|---|
| Seller | LevelChanger LLC | Apple |
| How you pay | Credit or debit card on our secure checkout page | The Apple Account on your iPad |
| Invoice before purchase | Not available | Not available |
| Invoice and receipt after purchase | Emailed to you after each payment | Apple emails a receipt to the Apple Account's email address |
| Purchase orders and checks | Not accepted | Not accepted |
| W-9 | Available on request | Apple is the seller, so LevelChanger can't provide one |
Directly from LevelChanger
Pay by card when you subscribe. After each payment you get an invoice and a receipt by email for your records. For a W-9, email support@levelchanger.com with your school name. Buying directly is available to new customers who haven't had a free trial. See Buying a Subscription or Starting a Free Trial.
Through the App Store
Apple is the seller and charges the Apple Account on the iPad. For receipts, see View your purchase history for the App Store and other Apple media services. Apple School Manager can't buy in-app purchases such as Takedown subscriptions (see Intro to apps and books licenses in Apple School Manager), so a school-managed iPad still needs an Apple Account with a payment method to subscribe through the App Store.
