Once a match is on YouTube, you can send the link to anyone, or publish it on Takedown LIVE where fans find it next to the score.
Email video to wrestlers and parents
- Open Manage Video for the Event, or a wrestler's Video Room.
- Tap the share icon (the box with the up arrow).
- An email opens in the iPad's Mail app, listing each match and its YouTube link. Edit the recipients, subject and message as you like, and send.
From Manage Video, the email is addressed to the wrestlers who have video in the Event plus the parents and coaches in your Contacts. From the Video Room, it's addressed to that wrestler. Add email addresses in My Team > Roster and My Team > Contacts and the To: field fills itself in.
Sharing uses the iPad's Mail app, which needs an email account set up on the iPad. It doesn't have to be an Apple address: Add an email account to your iPhone or iPad.
Publish video to Takedown LIVE
In Manage Video, tap Publish All. Fans tap the play symbol on a match in Takedown LIVE and the video plays. Unpublish All takes the video down. A match's video can be published only if the match itself is on Takedown LIVE; if the scoring isn't there, publish the Event to Takedown LIVE first.
Who can see the video
Takedown uploads as Unlisted: anyone with the link can watch, and nobody can find it by searching YouTube. Don't change videos to Private on YouTube; Private videos won't play in Takedown, Takedown LIVE or shared links. Google's explanation: Change video privacy settings.
