Apple Account and Payment Methods

When you subscribe through the App Store, Apple bills your Apple Account (Apple's new name for the Apple ID). Your Apple Account is separate from your Takedown account, and the two don't need to use the same email address.

Which Apple Account is on this iPad?

Open the iPad Settings app. Your Apple Account name is at the top. Tap it to see the email address. LevelChanger can't look this up for you: Apple doesn't share it with us. More help: If you forgot your Apple Account primary email address or phone number.

Tips for the Apple Account that pays

• Use an email address someone reads. Apple sends renewal notices and billing problems only to that inbox. Missed messages can lead to a failed renewal, and scoring or video recording stops on the expiration date.
• Think long term. An App Store subscription stays with the Apple Account that bought it and can't be moved. An account tied to your program rather than one person makes coaching changes easier.
• Keep the payment method current. An expired card is the most common reason a renewal fails.

"Purchase failed" or your payment is declined

Family Sharing

Takedown subscriptions can't be shared through Apple Family Sharing. You don't need it: a subscription already covers every iPad signed in to your Takedown account.
