A dual meet is scored weight class by weight class, with the team score kept for you.
Set up the lineup
In My Team > Schedule, open the dual meet and tap Pairings. Tap + to add a pairing for each weight class, picking your wrestler and the opponent. Copy Lineup From Event starts from a previous dual's lineup, and Exhibitions holds the extra matches. The Event's Weigh In records weights and confirms each wrestler's weight class.
Working through the weight classes
- In Scoring, the header shows the next weight class to be wrestled. Tap Weight Class to see all pairings.
- Tap a pairing to load it. To wrestle out of order, just pick the weight class that's up.
- Score the match and tap Move On. The next unscored weight class loads.
The second-period choice alternates by weight class. Takedown knows whose turn it is and highlights that wrestler's position icon; tap it and choose top, bottom, neutral or defer.
Forfeits and double forfeits
- Forfeit. Tap the name of the team conceding and choose Forfeit, then tap the other name and pick the wrestler who receives it. Team points are awarded.
- Double forfeit. Choose Forfeit for both wrestlers.
- All the open weights at once. If you skipped uncontested weight classes during the meet, tap the dual meet in the My Team > Schedule Event list and tap Double Forfeit Unscored Weight Classes when it's over.
Exhibition matches
Exhibitions don't count toward the team score. Add them in advance under Exhibitions in the dual meet's Pairings, or set a saved match's Match Type to Exhibition when editing it. In Scoring they're listed under Exhibition Pairings in the Weight Class picker.
Team points
Takedown applies the team points for each result. To take points from a team for unsportsmanlike conduct, use Penalty/Other > Team Points Deduction on that team's side.
Tie breakers
Takedown works out the dual meet tie breaker criteria after every match. If the meet ends tied, open the dual meet in My Team > Schedule and tap Tie Breaker Criteria; the deciding criterion is highlighted with each team's count.
Lineup handout
In the dual meet's Pairings, tap Pairings Handout to print or email the matchups for the opposing coach, the announcer and the table.
