Takedown LIVE Embed shows your team's live scores and this season's results on your school or club website. You sign in once on levelchanger.com with your Takedown account, copy a short piece of code or a link, and paste it into your site. From then on, every match you score in Takedown appears there automatically: live while it's being scored, then in your results. It's free with Takedown.

Before you start
Your team has to be on Takedown LIVE. In the Takedown app, tap Settings > Takedown LIVE, tap Start Using Takedown LIVE if you see it, and turn on Broadcast so your matches go out as you score them. Set your logo there too, under Edit Broadcast Info; it's the logo the embed shows. See Broadcasting to Takedown LIVE.
Get your embed code
- On a computer, open levelchanger.com/takedown-live-embed.
- Under Sign in with your Takedown Scoring and Stats account, enter the same email and password you use in the Takedown app, then click Get my embed code. There's no team to pick: your account is your team, and the page shows it under Your team.
- Choose a size. Only the height changes; the embed is always the full width of the space you put it in.
- Compact, 420 px: a sidebar.
- Standard, 700 px: most pages. This is the default.
- Tall, 1000 px: a page just for results.
- Click Copy next to the embed code. If your site builder asks for a web address instead of code, use Or embed by link and click its Copy button.
Your sign-in is used only to identify your team. Your password isn't stored, and signing out or closing the browser tab ends the session, so it's safe on a shared school computer.
Add it to your website
- Squarespace, Wix, WordPress and most school site editors: add a code or embed block where you want the scores and paste the code. A Squarespace Embed block in Link mode also takes the link.
- Google Sites: use the link, not the code. Choose Insert > Embed > By URL and paste it.
- A menu item: the link also works as an ordinary link that opens the scores in their own page.
Paste it once. After that there's nothing to update: matches appear as you score them. To make it taller or shorter, change the height number in the code, or pick another size on the embed page and copy the code again.
What visitors see
- Your team logo, name, short name and state at the top.
- LIVE: matches in progress, with the scoreboard, period clock and scoring notation. On days without a match it shows "No matches in progress".
- RESULTS: this season's duals and Events. Visitors tap a dual to see it bout by bout, with Box Score and Detail views.
- A footer with POWERED BY TAKEDOWN LIVE, which links to Takedown LIVE, and a ? that explains the scoring notation.
The embed always shows the current season, September 1 to August 31. It has no date picker, filters or search; for those, fans use Takedown LIVE. The embed has a dark background, matching Takedown LIVE. Visitors don't sign in, and there's nothing for them to install. By generating an embed code you agree to keep the Takedown LIVE branding in the embed visible on your site.
Messages when signing in

Questions
Nothing shows on my site.
Either your team hasn't turned on Takedown LIVE in the app (Settings > Takedown LIVE > Start Using Takedown LIVE), or no match has been scored this season. The embed shows September 1 to August 31 of the current season only. A team that hasn't scored yet shows its name and "No results in range".
My logo is missing.
Set it in the Takedown app under Settings > Takedown LIVE > Edit Broadcast Info. See Broadcasting to Takedown LIVE.
It's too short or too tall.
Change the height number in the code, or pick another size on the embed page and copy the code again.
Can visitors see anything private?
No. The embed shows the same public scores as Takedown LIVE.
What does it cost?
Nothing. It's part of Takedown LIVE and free with Takedown.
How do I turn it off?
Remove the code from your site. LevelChanger can also turn off a team's embed on request; email support@levelchanger.com.
