Takedown sends an email to verify your address when you sign up or change your email, and another when you reset your password. If one doesn't arrive, try these steps in order.
-
Wait a few minutes, then search your inbox for mail from no-reply@levelchanger.com. The sender shows as Takedown Scoring and Stats, and the subject is Verify your email for Takedown Scoring and Stats or Reset your Takedown Scoring and Stats password. The link inside starts with takedown-ee880.firebaseapp.com; that's expected.
The verification email
- Check your spam or junk folder. If the message is there, move it to your inbox before clicking the link; some email services disable links in spam.
-
Send it again. On the verification screen, tap Resend Verification Email. For a password reset, tap Forgot Your Password? on the sign-in screen, or Settings > Account > Reset Password, again.
The verification screen
- Add LevelChanger to your safe senders. Add no-reply@levelchanger.com, or the whole levelchanger.com domain, to your email's safe senders or allowed list.
- Check for school or work filtering. School and work email systems often hold or block these messages before they reach your inbox. Ask your IT department to allow levelchanger.com, or use a different address.
- Use a different email address. When signing up, tap Sign Up With Different Email. A team Gmail address works reliably.
Still stuck? Email support@levelchanger.com with your team name and state. We can change your account email for you. See Your Takedown Account.
