Every competition is an Event on the Season's schedule. Add it before the day so weigh-ins, pairings and scoring are ready when you walk in.
Adding an Event
- Tap My Team > Schedule, then +.
- Choose the type: Dual Meet, Tournament or Dual Meet Tournament (one Event holding several dual meets, such as a quad or a two-day duals tournament).
- Fill in the Event and tap Done.
The Event fields
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Opponent | Dual meets only. The Event is named for the opponent unless you type a name. |
| Date/Time | Must fall within the Season's dates. |
| Location, Location Type | Home or away, and the address. Use your current location or search for an address. The Season's Home Event Location is the default for home Events; away Events start with @ in the schedule. |
| Style | Folkstyle or Freestyle, from the Season default. |
| Competition Level | Varsity by default; change it for JV, middle school or youth Events. |
| Weight Classes | From the Season default. Pick a different set for an Event that uses other weights. |
| Periods, Championship Periods, Consolation Periods | Period lengths. Tournaments can use different lengths for championship and consolation rounds. For lengths that aren't offered, add a set in Settings > Periods > Add Custom Periods. |
| Period 2 Choice, First Weight Class | Dual meets: which team has the second-period choice at the first weight, and which weight class wrestles first. Takedown alternates from there. |
| Number of Days | Multi-day Events get a weigh-in for each day. |
| Divisions | USA Wrestling tournaments: the age divisions competing. |
| Notes | Anything for the scorer. Shown in Scoring under Event Notes. |
Anything still needed before the Event can be scored is marked Required for Scoring in red on the Event.
Dual meet tournaments
Add the tournament, then open it and tap + to add each dual meet inside it, with its opponent. Each dual has its own pairings and is scored like any dual meet; the Scoring Event picker shows the tournament with its duals underneath.
Editing and deleting
Scroll to the bottom of the Event to find Delete Event
Open the Event, tap Edit, change what you need and tap Done. To delete it, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Event; its matches go with it.
