Using a Befour Wireless Scale

Takedown records weights straight from a Befour PS-6615 scale fitted with the Befour Bluetooth module, so weigh-ins go faster and nobody mistypes a number.

Connect the scale

1. Turn on the Befour console and press its Transmit button. The wireless symbol on the console should flash.
2. On the iPad, make sure Bluetooth is on in the iPad's Settings > Bluetooth. If it shows Allow New Connections, tap it.
3. In Takedown, tap Settings > Bluetooth Scale, then Connect. The status changes from Disconnected to connected.

Weigh in

In an Event's Weigh In or a practice's weigh-in, tap the wrestler's weight field, then have the wrestler step on the scale. When the scale settles, the weight appears in the field.

If it won't connect

1. Confirm the console is on and Transmit has been pressed; the wireless symbol must be flashing.
2. Turn the iPad's Bluetooth off and on, then tap Connect again in Takedown.
3. If it still won't connect, check that the Bluetooth module inside the console hasn't come loose from its connector; the module manual below shows how.
