Your whole staff can use Takedown at the same time. Sign in to the same Takedown account on each iPad, and your data stays in sync automatically.
Add another iPad
- On the new iPad (iOS 18.6 or later), download Takedown Scoring and Stats from the App Store.
- Open Takedown and tap Log In. Don't tap Sign Up, which creates a separate account whose data can't be combined with yours.
- Enter your program's Takedown email and password.
- Stay connected to the internet while Getting your data ready... appears. A large program's data can take a few minutes.
Your subscription works on the new iPad automatically.
How syncing works
- Changes made on one iPad reach the others whenever both are online.
- An iPad that's already set up works offline, including scoring, and syncs when it reconnects.
- Connect each iPad to the internet often, especially after scoring an event.
Delete and reinstall Takedown
Reinstalling can clear up problems on one iPad. Deleting the app doesn't delete your Takedown account or cancel your subscription, because your data is stored in the cloud.
- Connect to the internet and open Takedown so any recent changes finish syncing. Changes that haven't synced are lost when you delete the app.
- Delete Takedown from the iPad. Apple's steps: Delete apps on your iPhone or iPad.
- Download Takedown again from the App Store and open it.
- Tap Log In and wait while Getting your data ready... appears.
If you see "Your data hasn't finished downloading. Check your internet connection and try again," connect to a stronger connection and try again.
Two accounts can't be combined
If your program ended up with two Takedown accounts, their data can't be merged. Choose one account, sign in to it on every iPad, and email support@levelchanger.com if you need help deciding.
